from a clay pot

2 Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us."

A wife to a fun, hard-working, & loving husband, a mom to 3 young cuties, but eternally, a child of God. I want to glorify Christ by the way I live. How far I am from where I should be! But God is good and gives grace through Jesus Christ! My main priorities right now are to honor my husband and love my children.

Hunger

I read several verses having something to do with hunger:

Psalm 107:4-9
Some wandered in desert wastes,
finding no way to a city to dwell in;
hungry and thirsty,
their soul fainted within them.
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
He led them by a straight way
till they reached a city to dwell in.
Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of men!
For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

Also...
Psalm 34:9-10
Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him have no lack!
The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

And...
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

It is very clear from these verses that if we hunger for God, He will satisfy us. What do I hunger for? Do I hunger and thirst for righteousness? What does that look like? Do I hunger for Him?
